St. Cloud Hospital among America’s Best Hospitals for ENT in U.S. News & World Report ranking

St. Cloud Hospital has been nationally ranked as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Ear, Nose & Throat in the U.S. News & World Report 2012-13 23rd annual Best Hospitals edition available online at www.usnews.com/besthospitals.

 U.S. News evaluated almost 5,000 hospitals to rank the best in 16 adult specialties from cancer to urology. Death rates, patient safety, and reputation with more than 9,000 specialists went into the rankings. Out of 4,793 hospitals analyzed for the 2012-13 Best Hospitals rankings, only 148 were ranked in any of the 16 specialties.
The 16 ranked specialties are cancer; gastroenterology; ear, nose, and throat; endocrinology; geriatric care; gynecology; heart and heart surgery; kidney disease; neurology and neurosurgery; ophthalmology; orthopedics; psychiatry; rehabilitation; respiratory disorders; rheumatology; and urology.
St. Cloud Hospital also ranked as High-Performing in:

• Gastroenterology
• Geriatrics
• Gynecology
• Nephrology
• Neurology & Neurosurgery
• Orthopedics
• Pulmonology
St. Cloud Hospital also received U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals recognition for urology in 2006 and 2008; U.S. News & World Report recognized St. Cloud Hospital as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Orthopedics in both 2007 and 2008; and Endocrinology 2005-2006.
